The weekly market, another way to enjoy the sun of the Costa Blanca South
Today we invite you to enjoy the scattered weekly markets throughout the Costa Blanca South. The street markets where you will find the freshest products from the fields, procesed meat and everything you can think of: clothes, toys, that water tap that drips at home and you did not have time to buy a new one... Or just buy freshly made bread for breakfast.
It is a deep-rooted way among Spanish people to walk in the sun while they buy what is necessary for the week. And, since the increase of immigration, a multicultural focus that has nothing to envy to the big cities of the world. Their food stands, often with live music, are ideal for pausing, eating something rich and recovering energy before continuing to lose yourself in the maze.
Some of them are huge, full of ramifications; others, small. But all have their charm.
If you are encouraged, you can visit them:
Monday: San Pedro del Pinatar
Tuesday: plaza Mil Palmeras (16: 30-20: 00), Pilar de la Horadada
Wednesday: San Miguel de Salinas and La Mata
Thursday: San Fulgencio (Urb. La Marina) and Aguamarina Urb., Cabo Roig
Friday: Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada
Saturday: Playa Flamenca, Orihuela Costa
Sunday: Pinar de Campoverde, Pilar de la Horadada
Once you visit one, you cannot avoid returning.
