The Townhall of Orihuela has created sports aisles on 5 different beaches of Orihuela Costa and has decided that from today the 8th of May professionals and federated athletes are allowed to exercise their indidividual activity. The time-schedule for the federated athletes is between 6 and 10 am and between 8 and 11 pm. and for the professionals there is no fixed time schedule so they can practice their sport all day.
The plan is that those same beaches will also be opened on the 15th of May for people who want to walk on the beach, although it will not be allowed for sunbathing, swimming or simply sitting on the sand.
The Townhall of Pilar de la Horadada has prepared 3 access routes to the beaches for federated athletes and professionals. At this moment it is not yet allowed for persons to just walk on these beaches.
The Townhall of San Pedro del Pinatar has not yet made a decision to open the beaches to the public.

Bars and restaurants are preparing their terrace to open from Monday the 11th May with 50% of their capacity. We must not forget that the state of emergency is still in effect, so the timetable to go outside for walking or individual sports has not changed: from 6 till 10 am and from 8 till 11 pm for people over 14 years for walking or exercising; for people with reduced mobility and for people older than 70 years between 10 and 12 am and between 7 and 8 pm; for children under 14 years and always accompanied by an adult between noon and 7 pm.
