The new measures to be taken in 4 phases do no mention anything about opening the borders. This is because Spain can not decide this, but the European
Union will take a joint decision, as it concerns all the countries. At the end, it will all depend of the number of infections of each country.
In Spain and according to the de-escalation plan, Spaniards are only allowed to travel in their own country until they enter at least at the end of phase 3, which will be at the end of June. Moving in your own province will be allowed sooner. So it is still absolute not clear when you can travel again within Europe.
In general, there’s still a lot of uncertainty about what is and what is not allowed in the different phases, so we will continue to inform you on this blog.
