Spain will require negative PCR for travelers from risk countries

Spain requires a negative PCR test of the past three days for all travelers from risk countries entering the country through airports or ports. This measure is published in the BOE (state bulletin) on the 12th of November. It does not appear that this new measure is also for people entering Spain by road.

The measure is mandatory from the 23rd of November of 2020 and at the moment there is no deadline. The temperature will continue to be measured as until now was already done and the obligation to have the document filled in with the QR code with you in Spanish or English (https://spth.gob.es) also still applies.

At the moment, this measure is necessary for all people coming from European countries who are in red and/or orange zone on the map with an incidence of infections of more than 150 cases per 100.000 population in the past 14 days (https://reopen.europa.eu/en).

During the stay in Spain, all people are required to have the documents related to the negative PCR test with them as the police may request it and refusing this or not having it with them can be fined.
